Don't Do This Mistake One Week Before CA Exams
CA Preparation Mistakes. CA Students.

With hardly a week left to the exam, the BIGGEST TRAP that you can set for yourself is the hunt for new books and resources. The hunt you could be doing in Telegram or Reddit searching for “fast track reference” or ”some famous faculty’s handwritten notes.”
Every CA influencer (including me) has an agenda to sell. Everyone (including me) wants to establish their personal brand. So, there will never be shortage in supply of such notes and materials. But the question is, do you really want it? Especially, at this hour?
You are endlessly searching for new resources because they’re available for free. Will you be searching for it in the same excitement if you have to pay for every resource?
The other problem with this endless hunting is that it subconsciously conveys a message that you don’t have enough faith in whatever the resource that you have been using so far. This could be largely a reason that you always feel that you never find a sense of control in your CA preparation.
Every new material has a different format, language, and appearance. Your brain will take time to adjust to the new thing. Even the same topic which you already studied quite well might appearing new and intimidating if seen in a new material.
My recommendation:
Stick to the same material you’ve always used. Ideally ICAI study material. But if you had already chosen some other good reference manual, then that’s fine too. The key is, STICK TO IT, no matter what.
It’s not about “which book.” It’s about how thorough you are with one.
The DO part of the solution is easy—stick to whatever material you have.
The DON’T part is difficult—exercise restraint and close the options mentally.
